Course Description
Day 1: Palpating the Belly
By palpating the belly we can quickly assess our patient’s whole health condition. Many cultures have discovered that palpating the belly reveals alot about the state of health of the whole body. Japanese Hara diagnosis, Chinese Qi Nei Zang approaches and Mayan Arvigo belly massage are some of the methods which have become popular in the West.
In this seminar we will explore the Nei Jing origins of this art as well as the practical applications which can enrich any acupuncture practice. One of the great advantages of Belly palpation is that it is relatively easy to learn and healing to practice.
In this first day of the seminar we will explore through lecture, partner massage and treatment, group exercises and inner meditation, the energetic qualities of the belly – the vital Lower Dan-Tian.
