Course Description          

In this seminar we will explore through lecture, partner exercises, group exercises and inner meditation the two most fundamental energy channels of the human body – the Chong and the Dai.

Course Outcomes

After completing this workshop participants will have a deeper understanding of the role of the Eight Extraordianry Channels and the Chong and the Dai in the human energy system. They will have the tools available to access and heal these two fundamental channels in themselves and their patients.

9 AM 10 AM   A summary of the core concepts of the Eight Extraordinary Channel theory in Sacred Acupuncture. The specific kinetics and architecture of the Eight Extraordinary channels
       
10 AM 11 AM   Qigong to access the Eight Extraordinary channels
       
11 AM 12:30 PM   Pathology, signs and symptoms suggesting Eight Extraordinary channels imbalances. The Eight Extraordinary channelsin relation to psychological and spiritual qualities. Afflictive and redemptive emotions from Eight Extraordinary channels imbalance.
       
1:30 PM 2:30 PM   Body zones to access the Eight Extraordinary channels. How the Eight Extraordinary Channels are expressed, and can be accessed for diagnosis and treatment, within the hands and feet.
       
2:30 PM 4 PM   Diagnostic techniques to understand the condition of the Eight Extraordinary channels - Qigong diagnosis, muscle testing diagnosis, postural diagnosis, symptom diagnosis and Shen diagnosis.
     
4 PM 5:30 PM   Practice of the clinical applications

1:30 PM 2:30 PM   The relationship of the Eight Extraordinary Channels to the Eight Auspicious Symbols. The specific symbols and hand positions for the Eight Extraordinary channels
     
2:30 PM 4 PM   The connection of the Chong Mai and Dai Mai to the 12 channels of the acupuncture meridian system. Beyond the confluent points - Other points and zones which access these channels.
     
4 PM 5:30 PM   How to combine acupuncture with specific breathing patterns, visualizations and affirmations to open the Eight Extraordinary channels
