Course Description          

In this seminar we will explore through lecture, partner exercises, group exercises and inner meditation these two bilateral energy channels of the human body – the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei.

Course Outcomes

After completing this workshop participants will have a deeper understanding of the role of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei in the human energy system. They will have the tools available to access and heal these two fundamental channels in themselves and their patients.

COURSE OUTLINE:

 

• A summary of the core concepts of the Eight Extraordinary Channel theory in Sacred Acupuncture
• The specific kinetics and architecture of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei
• Pathology, signs and symptoms suggesting the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei imbalances
• The Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei in relation to psychological and  spiritual qualities
• Afflictive emotions from Yin Qiao and Yang Wei imbalance
• Redemptive emotions connected to health in these channels
• The points of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei
• How the Eight Extraordinary Channels are expressed, and can be accessed for diagnosis and treatment, within the hands and feet.
• Diagnostic techniques to understand the condition of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei - Qigong diagnosis, muscle testing diagnosis, postural diagnosis, symptom diagnosis and Shen diagnosis
• The relationship of the Yin Qiao to the Kundalini and the spiraling energetics of the ascending Shen
• Understanding the relationship of the Yang Wei to the Luo-connecting fibers of the acupuncture channel system
• The relationship of the Eight Extraordinary Channels to the trigrams of the Yi Ching. The specific trigrams of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei
• Specific Qigong exercises to work with the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei
• The relationship of the Eight Extraordinary Channels to the Eight Auspicious Symbols. The specific symbols and hand positions for the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei
• The connection of the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei to the 12 channels of the acupuncture meridian system. Beyond Kid. 6 and T.B.5, other points and zones which access the energy of these channels.
• How to combine acupuncture with specific breathing patterns, visualizations and affirmations to open the Yin Qiao and the Yang Wei.
